For a picture-perfect tour of PEI scenery, look no further than Charlotte’s Shore. Red cliffs, rolling hills, winding rivers, and gentle surf are the order of the day in this region. Charlottetown, the capital city, has lots of interest to groups. As the Birthplace of Canada, Charlottetown features much in the way of historical attractions. But no group visit to the city can exclude the first-class theatrical entertainment that has become a hallmark of the capital - The Confederation Centre of the Arts.
Routing
Touring Charlotte’s Shore can begin at one of two starting points. If you follow the Trans-Canada Highway from Borden-Carleton to Charlottetown, you encounter much of the famous scenery in the region.

Driving Distance: Borden-Carleton to Charlottetown is 56km (35mi)
The route takes you along the Blue Heron Scenic Drive. Alternatively, you can arrive from the Wood Islands ferry terminal (via Nova Scotia) and head to Charlottetown along the Kings Byway. After enjoying the features of the capital city, take the Blue Heron Scenic Drive through to Summerside.
