Marble House

For a truly memorable experience, your group cannot miss the Marble House, located centrally in Newport, Rhode Island. The house was started in 1888 for William Vanderbilt, grandson to the steamship and railroad mogul, Cornelius Vanderbuilt. The name is taken from the more than 50, 000 cubic feet of marble throughout the house.
