Kelowna
Kelowna, the “gateway to the Okanagan,” is home to the only international airport in the valley. The city of 111,000 people is a bustling hub where you can golf, winery tour, enjoy an afternoon of shopping and sip a latté in a neighbourhood café, or dine in one of Kelowna’s fine restaurants and then take in an evening show. BC Orchard Industry & Wine Museums
Two museums under one roof – an ideal stop for groups! The Orchard Industry Museum depicts the history of the Okanagan Valley’s fruit industry, and how the region was transformed from a wide-open cattle range to one of the top fruit-producing regions in North America. The Wine Museum focuses on the thriving wine industry in the region, with exhibits on winemaking technique and culture dating back hundreds of years. Enjoy a wine tasting at the museum, and be sure to take home a bottle of BC wine!
