Each Labour Day weekend, the Gray Creek Sailing Regatta takes place. The 2-3 mile race in Kootenay Lake's bay showcases different classes of sailboats. Sunday morning at 10 am, the Lions pancake breakfast is served at the Gray Creek Store. And, the trophy presentation takes place later on Sunday as well. It's a beautiful sight seeing all the sailboats cruising across the water.
