Astrolab du Parc National du Mont-Mégantic
Situated in the first International Dark Sky Reserve, the ASTROLab has something for everyone, including interactive exhibitions, a high definition multimedia show, tours of the observatory, and astronomy evenings. Every afternoon during the summer, the observatory, located at an altitude of 1,100m (3,609ft), is opened to visitors. It’s the most important observatory of the East Coast, and touring it will surely be an eye-opening event for everyone. Whether you visit the ASTROLab by yourself or with a guide, you’ll be amazed by the technology and science that go into exploring the universe.

Colby-Curtis Museum
Catch a glimpse of the elegant lifestyles of several generations of a prominent American family who resided in Québec. Carrollcroft, home to the museum, is a beautiful granite house built in 1859 by Charles Carroll Colby in the classical revival style. The Colby family donated the house and all its contents to the Historical Society which now exhibits their belongings.

Louis S. St. Laurent National Historic Site of Canada
This national historic site allows visitors to see the house in which former Prime Minister of Canada Louis St. Laurent was born. The village, the general store, and the area’s atmosphere will expose you to the lifestyle of another time. See the more than 2500 objects and furniture in the home that belonged to the family. The general store’s warehouse contains the multimedia show, which gives an overview of his legal and political career. The authentic counters and shelves in the general store are pieces of this former era, and together with the rest of the village provide reminders of the time, and opportunities to learn about Louis S. St. Laurent.

Maison du Granit
Learn about the legacy of stone carvers at the Maison du Granit. Set in an old granite quarry, high up on Mount Saint Sebastian, the exhibits trace the rich history of the granite industry since its beginning in the late 19th century. Granite buildings can be seen throughout Québec, including the national architectural treasures Basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and the Saint Joseph’s Oratory. Maison du Granit also presents granite workshops, impressive lookouts, walking trails and a shop.

Missisquoi Museum
A complex of three buildings, with the main collection housed in the Cornell Mill, the Missisquoi Museum has featured exhibitions on how war affected the region’s citizens, insights regarding how everyday items reflect on the citizen’s style and sensibilities. The Cornell Mill was built in 1830 and, after serving the community until 1963, was purchased to establish the Missisquoi Museum. The second building of the complex, the Hodges General Store, was built in 1841, and the Museum Annex was built in the 1930s and the Walbridge Barn a 12 sided building, is unique in Canada. The collections found in the buildings provide powerful insight into the lifestyles of the community’s residents, and their affect on the region.

Musée de la Nature et des Sciences
In 1879, the Musée du Séminaire de Sherbrooke was created, and priests from the seminary put forth great effort to set up the museum as a place to provide awareness of the natural sciences. In 2002 the museum saw an extensive transformation, becoming the Musée de la Nature et des Sciences. Its mission now is to create awareness of the principle of sustainable development. The permanent exhibit The Cycle of the Season teaches the importance of light in the living habits of the animals throughout the season. A new feature, Terra Mutantès bring the visitors 400 million years back in time to attend the molding of the Appalachian chain.

Musée des Beaux-Arts de Sherbrooke
Founded in 1982, the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke art gallery is in the historic 19th-century home of the Eastern Townships Bank in downtown Sherbrooke. It focuses on the works of artists of the Eastern Townships, but also exhibits great works from elsewhere. Exhibitions are the core of the museum’s offerings: the first and second floors offer a dozen or so exhibitions every year, while the third
floor boasts the museum’s permanent collection.

Musee de l’Auto Ancienne de Richmond
Discover the evolution of the car design through the years! The museum offers exhibits of 45 models that date back to the early 1900s. This is the perfect destination for car enthusiasts.

Zoo de Granby
How better to learn about sharks than to stand in their basin, while an educator guides your (very safe) contact with tem? Sound exciting yet? Zoo de Granby has so much to do, see, and experience, you won’t want to leave. Interact with the lorikeets inside the Lorie’s Aviary and, as you feed them, they might just perch on you for a while. Observe the hippos swimming around in 360, 000 litres (95, 101 gallons) of
water. You’ll also want to see the gorillas enjoying the sun and fresh air in their outside park. And how could anybody resist seeing the tigers. Schedule a refreshing stop at the Amazoo Yoplait Water Park in the largest heated wave pool in Québec.

Le Cep d’Argent Winery
Come tour and taste Québec’s regional wines at Vignoble Le Cep d’Argent. The vineyard opened in 1985 and produces wines, aperitifs and digestifs according to blanc de blancs champagne methods. Vignoble Le Cep d’Argent is home to the unique L’Archer, a blend of red wine, brandy and Québec maple syrup.
