Confederation Centre of the Arts is always a must on tour planners’ itineraries and is the place for theatrical entertainment in the city showcasing Canadian talent. It is also home to Canada’s Longest Running Musical - Anne of Green Gables - The Musical™.

Peake’s Wharf, on the Charlottetown waterfront, has become a popular spot with its restaurants and craft shops. Visit the Fathers of Confederation Birthplace Commemorative Park.

Historic Great George Street is the route the "Fathers of Confederation" took from their ship in the harbour to Province House, the site of the Charlottetown Conference which led to the founding of Canada.

Considered the “Birthplace of Confederation”, Province House National Historic Site of Canada is the home of the Provincial Legislature and host of the historical 1864 Charlottetown Conference. Confederation Players in period costumes recount the creation of Canada.

Visit Founders’ Hall, PEI’s heritage attraction that celebrates 1864, when the Fathers of Confederation first met to discuss the union of Canada. It offers an interactive environment that includes interpretive displays and multimedia presentations intended to educate, entertain and inspire.

Beaconsfield Historic House, built in 1877 for a shipbuilder and merchant, has 11 historically furnished rooms, a gift shop and book store.

Victoria Row is lined with beautiful brick buildings built in the 1880s - just in time to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Jubilee. The area is now occupied by some of the best shops and restaurants, most with charming outdoor seating on this pedestrian mall.
