The most southerly city in Saskatchewan is also the province’s sunniest! Estevan averages more hours of sunshine per year than any other city in Saskatchewan. The city is also home to the Estevan Motor Speedway, take in some fast-paced excitement this summer!
Estevan Art Gallery & Museum
Housed in an 1894 Northwest Mounted Police barracks, this interesting museum features monthly exhibitions on the local, regional, national and international level. Topics include history, science, culture and nature.

Souris Valley Theatre
While in Estevan, take in a live performance at the Souris Valley Theatre which features 2 productions per summer starting in July.

Saskpower Tours
Shand Power Station, located 10 km southeast of Estevan – book tours through Estevan Tourism Shand Greenhouse, the greenhouse uses waste heat from the adjacent Shand Power Station to grow almost 500,000 seedlings each year which are used in community conservation projects. Tours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm on weekdays.
Saskpower Constructed Wetland
The Wetland project provides cooling water to Shand Power Station and is also home to some incredible native plants and wildlife. Book 1-2 days in advance.
