Big Muddy Badlands
Once controlled by a gang of about 30 men who were known as the “Outlaws of the Big Muddy”, this ruggedly beautiful area is steeped in history. Tour the outlaw caves where cattle thieves used to hide out, part of the famous “Outlaw Trail”. Take in Castle Butte, view the only known Indian buffalo effigy in Canada, and explore the outlaw history of the region.
