Wadena Wildlife Wetlands
Over 800,000 shorebirds and waterfowl arrive here each year, including a breeding colony of white pelicans and Canada’s largest population of the endangered piping plover. The area was designated an international shorebird reserve in 1994.

Wadena & District Museum / Nature Centre
Step back in time at this museum featuring a 1914 Brice farmstead including residence, refurbished 1904 CN station, 1907 rural school and many other historic displays. The Nature Centre includes interactive displays of endangered species and other wildlife in the Quill Lakes area.
