The Battlefords
This year-round vacation destination, comprised of the city of North Battleford and the neighbouring town of Battleford, is centrally located between Saskatoon and Lloydminster. The communities are linked across the North Saskatchewan River by the province’s longest bridge.

Western Development Museum - Heritage Farm & Village
The North Battleford branch of the Western Development Museum portrays the pioneer life through its 1920s Heritage Farm & Village. Trace the agricultural history of the region from its 10,000 farmers in 1900 to 250,000 farmsteads in 1914. Exhibits include extensive agricultural equipment dating back almost 100 years, period farming, live animals, and much more.

Fred Light Museum & Tourist Centre
A delightful stop for the history or military buff. Collections include turn of the century items, military uniforms from the 1800s and the two World Wars, and an outstanding display of firearms. Also a great stop for tourist information.

The Chapel Gallery
This year-round art gallery features permanent and changing exhibits highlighting local, regional and provincial works. The view overlooking the North Saskatchewan River is one of the best in town, an added bonus to your visit.

Fort Battleford National Historic Site of Canada
Established in 1876 and abandoned in 1924, this was the original post of the Northwest Mounted
Police. Guides in period costume lead your group through the interpretive displays and five buildings (four with period furniture). Historic weapons demonstrations, video presentations, and more provide a look into this important piece of Canadian history.

Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame
Located in the centre of Battleford is the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame. The Museum has an interesting collection of baseball memorabilia, including artifacts, photos and papers, donated by Saskatchewan baseball fans and players. The Hall of Fame holds an induction event every year and over 200 individuals and teams have been honoured.
