Kaslo
S.S. Moyie
The last operating passenger sternwheeler in Canada, this significant vessel had an important place in Canada’s history. It serviced the Nelson-Kootenay Landing Route, connecting the region’s new rail line beginning in 1898, though it was originally built for transport on the all-Canadian route to the Klondike. Self-guided tours available of the ship’s dining saloon and pilot house.
