Revelstoke Dam
One of the largest and most modern hydroelectric developments in North America is the Revelstoke Dam, built to regulate the flow of the Columbia River. Visitors will enjoy touring the facility, including an elevator to the dam crest to get an inside look at the dam and a trip to the main powerhouse gallery and other areas for the spectacular views. Guided and self-guided tours available.

Revelstoke Railway Museum
Take a journey through the Canadian Pacific Railway’s past and present operations at this museum opened in 1993. See restored locomotives on display, experience the thrill of engineering a train at the Diesel Locomotive Simulator, and see the legacy of the workers and machines that created Canada’s first transcontinental railway. A good pairing with a stop at nearby Craigellachie, site of the CPR’s “Last Spike.”
