A hands-on opportunity to explore the history of coal mining in Alberta. Don an authentic mining lamp and hard hat, and experience a glimpse back in time, walking 300 meters through the hundredyear- old tunnels of a coal mine.
Frank Slide Interpretive Centre
Experience the history of the Crowsnest Pass and learn the tragic story of the 1903 limestone slide that buried part of the town of Frank, killing over 70 people. Interpretive programs, presentations and special events complete the visitor experience.
