Fort MacLeod
Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage Site
This UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved Buffalo jump sites in North America. Walk to the cliff top and view the jump site that was so effectively used for some 6,000 years by Natives to provide their living essentials. Underground award-winning Interpretive Centre and outside trails complete the history. Unless you’re a buffalo, this is a site not to be missed.
