This historic site is a reconstruction of the Northwest Mounted Police Fort Normandeau site, used during the Riel Rebellion. Discover the interesting history through interpretive programs and displays including costumed interpreters.

Kerry Wood Nature Centre & Gaetz Lake Sanctuary
Get a first-hand look at the area’s natural history. Nature Centre, walking and hiking trails, wildlife and bird viewing, self-guided tours, extensive exhibits and more await you, with programs for everyone from children to seniors.

Red Deer & District Museum
This unique museum depicts the history of the area from early First Nations cultures to the development of the city of Red Deer. Children will enjoy the Discovery Center.

Alberta Sports Hall of Fame & Museum
Over 7,000 square feet of exhibit space display artifacts, interactive areas and hands-on activities highlighting more than 100 years of sports in Alberta. Included on site are a hockey rink, baseball pitching field and Alpine Skiing machine. Over 600 inductees are featured in the Honoured Members Gallery athletes.
