St. Lawrence Miner’s Museum

The realities of a miner's life are evident to visitors of this museum as they examine various tools used by former workers of the St. Lawrence fluorspar mine. The mine lights and jackhammers, along with more modern mining equipment, show the mining history of this community.

Echoes of Valour - commemorating victims of the mining industry and the sea disaster of February 18,1942, when the supply ship U.S.S. Pollux and the destroyer U.S.S. Truxtun ran aground off the coast of St. Lawrence and Lawn.
