Grand Bank Historic Lighthouse & Waterfront
This structure was built in 1921. In 1923, a schooner struck the Lighthouse and damaged the ‘B’ in Bank. The scar is still visible today.
The George C. Harris House - Museum of Local History - Located near the waterfront, this newly-restored merchant house depicts the town’s history through pictures and artifact displays. Curators in period costume.
The Provincial Seaman’s Museum, Grand Bank - A memorial to the many Newfoundlanders who were lost at sea. Explore the era of the banking schooner through photographs, documents, and an extensive collection of artifacts and ship models. The exterior mural is the largest in Atlantic Canada.
