Free guided tours can be tailored to meet particular interests, age group, and size. A series of wall panels describe the research at BIO. The Titanic exhibit boasts a model of what the Titanic now looks like on the ocean floor and images from the 1991 expedition. The latest technology in seafloor mapping is at BIO. 3-D multibeam images have been used to find the wreckage from air disasters and can be used to determine fish habitat. Hands on activities include an erosion model, liferaft, microscopes and the famous Sea Pavilion. Tours are by advance arrangement only.
