The Loyalist Parkway
Sandbanks Provincial Park
The largest freshwater bay mouth sand dune system in the world. Other amenities: park store and restaurant, visitor centre, natural heritage education programs, playground, recreational rentals, fishing and three beautiful beaches.
The Regent Theatre
The Regent Theatre is a year-round, three hundred and fifty seat theatre, showing current movies and live presentations with popular performers. The theatre is circa 1920, and designated as an historically significant building and has retained most of its original features. Box office: 10am to 4pm, Mon.-Sat.
Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory
Located along the eastern tip of Prince Edward County about 20 minutes southeast of Picton, Ontario in a National Wildlife Area. Banding and monitoring of the spring migration begins in April and runs into May. Operations start daily at dawn and finish approximately six hours later around noon, weather permitting. The fall banding begins in August and runs into November.
Museums of Prince Edward County
Five unique sites located throughout the County. In scenic surroundings, the Museums interpret the community’s dynamic history. In addition to providing exhibitions and educational programs, the museums also offer customized tours for groups.
