Hancock Shaker Village
Its twenty original buildings and historic working farm are spread over 1,200 acres in the Berkshire Hills, displaying the Shaker history of this village, the third of nineteen Shaker communities established in New England, New York, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana from the late 1700s to the mid-1900s.

Herman Melville’s Arrowhead
This historical gem was the home where Herman Melville wrote Moby-Dick. It is owned and operated by the Berkshire Historical Society, and is a Registered National Historic Landmark.
