Van Buren
Acadian Historic Village
Listed on the National Registry for the Preservation of Historical Landmarks, this is a wonderful stop for visitors to the Van Buren area. One of the largest historical sites in Maine, it provides a glimpse into the lives and history of the Acadian people. Tour the many original and replica buildings and exhibits depicting Acadian life and culture in the Saint John Valley in the mid-18th century.
