Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, situated on the Lunenburg Waterfront, for displays on the culture associated with Atlantic coast fisheries. Sample some fresh seafood at one of the many restaurants nearby.
