Port-La-Joye-Fort Amherst National Historic Site
Visit the first French settlement, Port-La-Joye, on the Island from 1720, and the British fort, Fort Amherst, which later replaced it in 1758. Featuring a picnic area with an excellent view of Charlottetown Harbour.
