The Rideau Heritage Route from Lake Ontario in Kingston to Ottawa along both sides of the Rideau Canal, winds its way through historic sites, quaint villages and spectacular recreation areas. The Rideau Canal is North America’s oldest continuously operated waterway and a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
