Information

This is far from your run-of-the-mill museum. From spinning wheels to space exploration, ATHM tells America’s story in an amazing interactive experience for all ages. Take a guided or self-guided tour and watch how baseballs are made from wool, weave on an authentic hand loom, and see plastic soda bottles recycled into clothing. See how textiles have shaped our country's history and are changing the world in ways you've never imagined. Experience it all at ATHM, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. Open Wednesday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
